Default Rain

It's raining so hard at the plant this morning (in sight of Lake Wylie) I looked out back and a 150 lb. manhole cover is jumping up and down 3-4 inches. It looks like it's got the heebie-jeebies. We have had at least 3-4 inches since 4:00 yesterday afternoon. Keep on coming!!

How about you guys down there on the Ga. line????

It's strange how the rain is coming in, I hear that some have had lots of rain but here we have not had but 9/10'' total between yesterday morning and this morning. But thank God for what we have had and the rain that we will get the rest of the week. I know its got to be helping the lakes.

This rain is making my tomatos split open on the vine
Also washed all me collards and turnips together and drowned the rest.
I might mix all kinds of mustard, kale, rape, and tendergreen together and sow the rest of the garden.

Love me some greens with fried fish! Don't ferget the pickled green tomato with a pickled jalopino peper!

The storms that just went over us dumped 2'' of rain on us, Clemson got the worst of it.
Couple of touch downs, lot of trees on cars. Look out on the S.C.-N.C. border!!!! its coming to you.

Now if the electric companys don't get greedy and start flowing, this might help the lakes a little.

Wishful thinking but I'm afraid it's all about the dollar these days.

I have emptied 8.2 inches of rain from my rain gage since Tuesday evening. It had only rained 3.2 inches from February till Fay came in. Have had to cut down two large oaks and two more are dead. These are large trees over 3 feet in diameter. I am so glad it rained. Hope the flooding in Charlotte area remains manageable for those folks.

Some of you folks are just plain lucky. I have had 2-1/4 inches since last Thursday. I kept hoping Fay would squat over Clarks Hill and help us out but.........................
