Well, the shop called me today about my motor. Said that the magneto under teh fly wheel is shoot. He said that the problem is that they don't make the part anymore and that he can find it anyone that carries it, I had purchased a 15 hp off them for parts this spring. I am going to dropp that motor off tomorrow and hope that the magneto in it will work. If not going to be buying a new motor.
The only thing I have about that is that I will have more in a motor than I paid for the boat, motor, trolling motor, and trailor together.

Gamefisher, I hope the part off the old motor works for you. There's still some old salvage yards around and you could still get lucky and run up on the part you need if you have the time to look for it. Sometimes it's easier to start new again but costs ALOT more up front, but maybe not in the long run. Good luck with your motor.
