Smile Saying Hello

Just wanted to stop by and say hello to you guys. I don't post as much here during the Summer. I work in Television News and Summer time is busy as heck... alas.. that translates into less fishing. That plus Crappie around here pretty much turn off this time of year. Anways.. hoping you guys are catching them by the bucket (especially them White Perch, I heard they aren't a game fish anymore).

Glad you had a change to stop in, hope you can join in more as the weather cools down and the fish starts biting again. Good luck with your work and look forward to seeing your post later on.

Thanks guys... I'm going to have to wet a line real soon. And Rango, I understand, stuff happens.. just let me know when you're gonna go and I'll come on up. What little bit of fishing I got to do on the lake when I went camping was fun! Those white perch are crazy. We were casting into a whole to the right of Ebenezer and we coulda pulled them all day.

nope, caught a few Bluegill back in early June when they were on beds.. and pretty much left the water since then. Strangely enough, I don't think I've seen a Shellcracker once this year.. that never happens, usually I'm hitting them by now, thugs too. Anyway, yep, I'm still here in good ol' South Cack. I probably woulda been down at Buzzards Roost a few times too, but gas prices are killing me. That's over an hour drive, if anything I'd go to Wylie before I went there. Highway miles burn less gas. Freakin Economy!
