Well got to the store and got the minners and made my first bad judgement of the day. Told two nine year olds to grab a soda and and a king size candy bar for breakfast. Man did they wake up after that. Nice morning nice and cool water droped down to 81 degrees. Water was clear you never knowned it had rain the day before. We got the poles in the water and had first in boat in 5 min. Ethan was excited and after an hour said it was the best fishing he had seen.

Hard to find the big schools just got them here and there. Only one time was all four poles going at once. Nice quality WP. Had only one double.

All of us Perch jerkers are we wearing them out in Ylee? My first time catching them in Ylee this year, I guess they are slowing down.

No fish after 10:30 so at 12:30 went back to car and got the tube out and drug two boys all over the lake. When they flip into the water all was laughing. Ethan said he had the best day. Fishing tubing and going back to house to play PS3. I think they had a good time.

Nice day on the lake. I got two boys. One is 39 and one 35. We use to spend the day on Wylie doing exactly what you guys did except we caught catfish then pulled the tube............ Enjoy...it passes ever so fast.

nice catch--actually the bite will intensify and get even better

Shad will start to mass up in a month or so. The bass go top water for a while on these bait, cats feed up under the schools, perch will be in tightly formed schools. It will be good one of my favorite times to fish.
