how do i get to clarks hill from york sc and what landing do yall fish any info would be great

Go to Chester and take a right on Hwy 72, then go till you cross the Savannah River bridge at Calhoun Falls. The first road to the left will dead end into Bobby Brown State Park. I believe it is Bobby Brown park rd. Launching ramp will put you just below the Russell Dam in nice cool water! They've got a campground at Bobby Brown and one at Russell State Park in Calhoun Falls on the SC side if your lookin to stay the night. Good luck with em.

It would be a pretty good haul for you, I'm gonna guess about a hundred miles or so. There are a couple of stretchs where you mihgt get to run 60 on 72 but most of the time you will be running through little towns.

from charlotte its about 3 1/2 hrs.

rebel if it helps you out any, there is a campsite there on c/h thats only $10 a night. it has full electrical hookup, you can keep your boat out back there, and it even has showers. thats where me and a few friends went last year and i was pretty impressed with it. bad thing was, the water was soo low that we barley even made it up there with a boat. if you want info on the place i could try to dig it up for you.
