Default stumpie pond

went back to stumpie pond last night cought bait it was little bit bigger then i like but it worked fair ..we cought 32 fish some 1 lbers.a few whit bass but mostly crappies.. water temp was hot.but still good night .. still think we should have a crappie contest there 5 fish limit . 10 dollors a boat but dont seem anyone wants to...

Sounds like you had a good catch and a nice night of fishing. I've read a couple articles on stumpie pond and would like to fish it sometime but it is a long way to go. Sounds like it would be interesting to have a night stalk there, hope you can get some locals to join in with you.

I for one would be totally lost trying to go out and catch a mess of crappie this time of the year. Especially since it's been months since my last stalk. Sounds like youre all over 'em though. That might be the reason you aint getting any responses to a crappie tourney. You done scared all the guys off with reports like this one. Congrats on a great catch!

stumpie pond is a fun place to fish lots of bait .. i catch more on shad then minnows next time i go ill post a few days before so if any one like to set up next to us

I would like it alot better if they was a dock at the ramp. I'd need lots of wet feet to launch me boat there. SR, I'd like to do that one night B4 all these hunting seasons get going.
