went back to stumpie pond last night cought bait it was little bit bigger then i like but it worked fair ..we cought 32 fish some 1 lbers.a few whit bass but mostly crappies.. water temp was hot.but still good night .. still think we should have a crappie contest there 5 fish limit . 10 dollors a boat but dont seem anyone wants to...
Sounds like you had a good catch and a nice night of fishing. I've read a couple articles on stumpie pond and would like to fish it sometime but it is a long way to go. Sounds like it would be interesting to have a night stalk there, hope you can get some locals to join in with you.

I for one would be totally lost trying to go out and catch a mess of crappie this time of the year. Especially since it's been months since my last stalk. Sounds like youre all over 'em though. stumpie pond is a fun place to fish lots of bait .. i catch more on shad then minnows next time i go ill post a few days before so if any one like to set up next to us
I would like it alot better if they was a dock at the ramp. I'd need lots of wet feet to launch me boat there. SR, I'd like to do that one night B4 all these hunting seasons get going.
