Default Russell or Sesession (spelling?)

A buddy and I have planned a fishing trip for Saturday to Lake Russell. With all the rain, we thought it may be better to try Lake Sesession. Does anyone have any advice? Thanks in advance.

I think I would try the river run of Russell or the lower end, most of Session will be muddy or hard stained. We are thinking about a night stalk Sat. , if so I will look for the stained water between clear and muddy.

Long coves off the main river channel, or under bridges . Straightline rig against the pillings 2 cranks off the bottom. The long coves without a draw or a creek will give you some clearer water for pulling jigs. On the bottom under the bridges will be clearer too, for minnow bait.
