    Default Two transducers

Probably a silly question here. Could I run two transducers on my helix 9 mega si? One being mounted on transom and the other on the bow?

I believe you can, but I think you’ve got to buy a splitter/y cable and possibly a switch or switch box depending on the unit. Maybe Rickie or someone more knowledgeable than me will chime in.

No switch available for MEGA xducers ...

And no Y cable to get get full functionality in 2 different places
    ----

This Y cable is to split off left SI ...

This Y cable is to split off 2d ...

You would have to unplug and plug to use 2 separate MEGA xducers in 2 separate places and have full xducer functionality in each place ...

Thanks guys. I don't won't to be plugging and unplugging more than I have to. Guess I'll just stay at the bow with it.

Well, shows how much I know, glad Rickie got you straightened out. I have ran two separate transducers before and unplugged, but depending on the application that can be a hassle.

Start saving them pennies to get another networkable unit ...

Doesn't have to be MEGA SI to get MEGA from the master unit ... It can be any G2N unit (sonar G2N, DI G2N, or MEGA DI G2N) ...

HELIX gen1 can get fixed frequency Sonar and fixed frequency 455/800kHz imaging from a MEGA unit ...

Never thought I'd drop that kind of money on a fish finder. After all, I'm just a weekend warrior. But, it will be fun.
