    Default Mega Transducer Mount Advice

Ok so we are getting ready to mount a Mega transducer to our boat. Here is our dilemma and I hope the pics will attach. With where we are going to mount it we are afraid it will hit the motor. I know it says to put a jack plate in but that isn't going to happen this year. Our question is do we mount it closer to the motor or farther away for the least interference. We are going to mount it on the transom savor. Hope my pictures load so you can see. We plan to tilt the motor up some when we are fishing to help it out but really only want to mount this thing once. We are going to run a second transducer for depth at speed. Thanks for any advice given. I apologize have spent the last half hour trying to get these the right way. Usually I can get it figured out but this system has me stumped. Name: IMG_2009.jpg

I'd mount it right in middle of board and 2d below it. You may or may not pickup the motor but trimming up a little shouse take care of that. You may pick up that pickup screen more so than motor.
