    I got me a case of the sore throat & hackin' too.

    I should have been on the ice jerkin perch from 45 fow - they been killin' 'em...

    Dawn & I got 59 yellow perch last week ago Friday - had perch for lunch a couple times last week.....


    MMMMMMMMMmmmmmmm mmmmmmm!

    Sounds like fun Robert. Did you by chance get to take a pic of the mega on your transom.im going to start the installation tomorrow

    I decided not to network at this time. Will the GPS puck from the 998 I have improve my mapping or is the internal gps on the Mega good enough.

    Mapping will be the same ...

    Waypoints will be more accurate with an external mounted close to the xducer ...

    Waypoints with the internal xducer will be off the distance from the internal GPS to the xducer ...

    Im going to try and get this on the boat tomorrow. I really hope I can get the xducer close on it. Ill post a pic when I get it mounted . Thanks Rickie

    If you go ahead & start the mounting, start with it's surface barely below the hull bottom.

    Install is complete. Not sure about the xducer ill mess with it some b4 I put it in the water. Well I cant seem to post any pix. I have a deep vee tracker, and as big as the xducer is it looks like its going to shoot the foot unless I trim the motor way up . Ill have to see what happens I guess. Any pictures of transducers on the back of a deep vee aluminum boat will be appreciated. 2 angle veiws one from the side one from the back Please.
