Default what's wrong with my unit?

I have a Lowrance HDS Gen 2 unit. When using the sidescan, I get this picture. You see how the left side is dark and shaded and unable to see anything compared to the right side? Is it my transducer that's at the wrong pitch? Thanks.

Either the left SI beam is being being partially blocked (lower unit) ... or the xducer is not level side to side causing the left SI beam to shoot "higher" than the right SI beam ...

I think that you should switch to 455khz,to see if it looks ok.if your scan ,that's on the 455khz looks good .then theirs nothing blocking the view.I don't think pitch would do that, but if its out side to side maybe.but it would have to be out a lot.

I would guess as well that your motor is blocking your view, trim up your motor and see if that changes anything
That's what I have to do.
