Looks OK but there's really no way to know for sure till you are out on the water. You will need to have everything you normally carry as far as weight in the boat then see if the sonar is working good. You can then adjust it to get the best sonar pictures. I will be looking forward to seeing some of your sonar pictures of fish and structure you find. Good luck

Here is a youtube video of how to level a transducer also.

I'm no expert, but it looks like it is lower than the hull and could get knocked off easily. May someone like Ricky will pipe in. Or maybe Bill at BRM.

Basically, you want the transducer "seam" that makes up the top and bottom half's, horizontally aligned with the bottom of the boat.
'Jesus answered and said to them, “Go and tell John the things which you hear and see:
The blind see and the lame walk; lepers are cleansed and deaf hear; dead are raised up and poor have the gospel preached to them.
And blessed is he who is not offended because of Me... Matthew 11:4-6

I'm pretty sure it's mounted correctly. Took it out for the first time today. Marked fish on brush, fallen trees, piers, etc. Only issue is the constant surface clutter showing up on the left side of SI. See pic. What is causing this? Seemed to go away when I sped up. It did this no matter what angle the motor was trimmed.

BTW, I had the surface clutter setting as low as it would go.

If that's the TM pushing the boat at 2.7mph - that is aerated water from the TM prop ...
    -----

Algae or plankton bloom would be on both sides ...
    -----

Set the boat adrift when you see that on the left side --- If it goes away something on the boat (Or the boat itself) is creating it ...
