    Default HB 899 issue

My HB 899 hd si di unit started giving a "low voltage" message. My HB 859 hooked to the same battery was working fine. The the 899 started giving me a "depth Alarm" Message even if I was in 10 feet of water and the depth alarm was set on 3 feet. I also noticed that I was not seeing brush piles on it that I knew was there and could confirm on the 859 DI unit.

So, I did a "restore System Defaults" . Now I am getting screens that I have never seen before i.e. double split screen navigation showing the same thing, a full screen navigation- that I have never seen before,a down image screen that does not move, a half DI and Half SI that does not move.etc. I can't hit the "view" button and get a straight DI screen or SI full screen... I get about 4 screens that are RTS variations from split, to full, to 3 different looks on the same screen...

Any idea what may have happened and how to fix it? I have done an update as of today and it still is the same. I did not remove my lake maps card before I did the "system defaults restore"

    Thanks for any help.

After a Restore Defaults - most of the available views are visible (except a few diagnostic screens and 1 Sonar screen very few people use) ...

Go under the "Views" tab in the Main Menu System and make "Hidden" every view you would not use ...

This makes the usable views easier to cycle thru with fewer presses of the "View" button ...

A Restore Defaults should have also turned off any alarms that may have been set under the "Alarms" tab in the Main Menu System ...
