Thanks. I got this far yesterday. My mount is a little different than yours. They sell 2 different types thats made for the DF. However, the length of the transducer leaves a little bit to be desire for attaching to a trolling motor. Today, I'm pulling the head off and remove the shaft so I can run the cord and silicone it in the that slot for the cord. I did my last one that way. works great and keep the cord out of the way. I would like the transducer to sit level on the bottom of the trolling motor but no way that will work because of the fin and length. I only assume it want affect it.

It HAS to be flat and level.

Worked just fine. No issues even with it offset some. Happy with it. Ordered a another one for the back next to my Lowrance.
