1st "me"
2cd Rex Davis
3rd David Waters
big fish Pat Stegall @ 1.78 or 1.79 I think
don't remember the exact order of the rest...

I had 6.52, it was close, 2cd and 3rd were within .02 lb of each other
Several of us went back again Monday just for kicks, I think everybody did
a lot better on Monday. That's the way it goes!

I caught 26 really nice slabs today. The wind was blowing perfectly to push me right over the honey holes! 10 of them were over 14 1/2 inches long with two over 15 1/2. May be the best overall stringer I've ever caught. Always seem to get the good stringers before or after a tournament!

Bevin Berry and I went Tuesday and caught 26 also had one that weighed 1.4 several nice fish but also a bunch of 8.75 inch ones . Some of the females still had good eggs some were drying up some was laid out I cann't figure them out.

Buflew - yep, the dinks was wearing me out both days. Lost count of
how many little 6-7" ones I threw back... and #@$* catfish - caught
a BUNCH of them slimey jokers too. First fish I caught in the tournament
was a 6 or 7 pound channel, swallowed the bait whole. Took me probably
ten minutes of working with pliers and cussing to get it back. Still got
slime all over the boat.
