Thread: Wilson Tournament

S.A.C.A. will be on wilson lake this weekend sat. the 23rd. Fish time is 6:30am til 3pm. We will launch and weigh at lock six ramp. I will be at ramp about 5:45 till 6am to collect entry. Also We have to change our march tournament on wheeler from march 20th to March 27th Just wanted to let everyone know in plenty of time. South wind 15 to 20 gusting to 30 ouch! Yall go get em, be hard to get out of that wind!

its going to be tough for sure. Went today and caught 2, with no wind. Bring your patience, and a wind sock.

The serious mud in well north of Brush creek, however it may be to brush creek by in the morning. It is dingy most everywhere else. There will be a few places to fish to get out of a SE wind, but not many.

Many of you in smaller boats may want to launch at the bridge for safety to stay away from the main lake.

Yep I think it will be tough conditions but we will give it a try. I will be at lock six about 5:45 and leave there about 6am. I may put in at shoals creek bridge due to wind. everyone be careful se wind will get wilson rough quick.

how did it go? I went to website and the report said no fish caught?? Was it that bad?

Conditions was as bad as it gets and got worse as the day went on muddy water, windy but we was on the water. This is the 1st tournament for saca that no one had a crappie to weigh and I hope it is or last. Thanks guys for coming out we still had a good time I even netted a stripe to have a little fun with another team.
