    Default BCDA campgrounds

I'd like to find out if there are any campgrounds in the BCDA lakes area that stay open year round and have full hook-ups. I've stayed at the cabins on Little Bear in the past for a week in the spring, but would like to see about something more permanent over 6-8 month time span from the first of October to the middle of May.

I've seen a campground (I think private) near one of the ramps, but I can't find a phone number or any other info from the internet.

    Thanks for any help.

    Default Upper Bear Campground

Thanks for the information slilder. I'll make the contact. Planning to be down that way in 3 weeks for another spring break fishing vacation on Little Bear.

Hope your weather has been better than ours here in southern Indiana--first time in years that I haven't had the boat out sometime in February chasing some crappie.

Makes that trip to Alabama just that much better--what a super area!
Good fishing, good restaurants, reasonable prices, and some of the best people that I've ever been around.

the camp ground is nice. very nice people. they have a resturant there but it's not open all the time not sure about the times, It's 15mins from haleyville , then your about 45 mins from little bear and cedar. and you will be right on the water at upper bear, which produced some 3lb cappie last year.
