And the question is? Can't go wrong buying a Ranger. They hold their value with modest care and the Mercury should give good service. Only thing left is $. Nice rig. Resembles Fishawks all species. Very comfortable to fish out of.

this boat is a 2001 620 ranger, with a 9.9 kicker. it is in Minnesota unfortunately, but I don't mind to go get a boat like that. You can't find them in teh south whatsoever. Everyone I know that has one either ordered it new from a dealer, or drove up north like I will to get theres. I have been looking for about a year now, and this boat is the best fit for what I want. You know, I bought all my other boats before I really knew what I wanted and needed in a boat. Now I know.

Yeah, I looked for about a year before I found mine and had to go to Missouri to get it (Missouri was an odd place to find the boat though).

    Default New toy

I have what I call my first "Big Boy Boat". Everything I've had so far has had 40hp or less. Now I have an 18' Bumble Bee w/150 mariner. Front deck is lower than the flippin deck but not too low. I know what you mean that you bought before you knew what you wanted. My list for the next is already started. Good luck should you get it, looks real nice. Here's a pic of mine, an '88.
