Pam imo is the worst lubricant, As it is actually tacky, worm oil is best, I do not oil mine at all, plastic is self lubricating, being it is essentially petroleum based. Sounds like a oring to me....

i stuck a 400.00 mold in castrol degreaser one day. walked away for 5 minutes. came back to a essential series looking mold. got to be very carefull with aluminum. Rubbing alchohol may be fine....

Slide Bar molds...
If you never seen one, this is a slide bar mold. shoots lams, solids, firetails and real core shots. Very fun but time consuming to make, and heafty price tags.
