Once they move to deeper water humps and rock piles I get them trolling cranks or drop shotting.

Just like others posting I swear by 6# and wouldn't mess with 2 or 4. It's pricy so I fill half the spool with mono then follow with the Nanofil.

Again good advice Huntslabs. I don't see myself going off shore so I would look for something for both the flats and smaller freshwater lakes. Technical poling skiffs are a little too pricey for me....
