i caught the first crappie off my dock 2 days after sinking structure. before that all you could catch was channel cat and an occasional bass.

Marion county has been bad for about 3 years now. Nothing but 8-10 inchers with a few larger ones mixed in.. not sure about Shawnee in topeka. Its not known as a crappie dock but it is heated.

They are not letting anything out of clinton or perry now. looks like they got an early start.

Caught at 16 inch probably at round 2.5 lb crappie last Wednesday... It hit a 10 inch bass worm Carolina rig!!
