I am going on vacation to Ocan Isle in a few weeks and I was wondering if anyone knows the backwater area and could give me some help with some spots to fish. I am staying at a rental houe that has a dock and access to the waterway.

I was wondering if it would be worth pulling my boat (20' bass boat w/200 hp merc). The past two years I have just fished from the pier and now that I have boat I was wondering if it would be worth taking it.
