First off, nice fish Greg and thanks for the pictures. As for the gnats, PM me and I can tell you what we have used to keep them in check. I am too imbarassed to admit to it here! lol

Kajun, when you get back, look me up and we can make a trip to Big Lake. We have been tearing the specks up lately! :D

    Default info?

    Greg,

I didn't receive your pm. I just wanted to know the name of the marina so that I can put it on my gps to get there, address would help too. I don't expect you give me your secret honey holes. What do you know about Lake Decade? I hear its deeper there and not hard to navigate, friend of mine told me launch at Falgout marina to get to it. Thanks Greg for the heads up on the wire cutters and push pole. Tim

Just a follow up on last comment about the trout being in the creeks and rivers .... Made it out today with the 13 year old Grandson ..... a lot of 14 1/2" specs (Gotta be 15 ") He did get one at the end of the day .... we caught at leas 20 that size plus aome smaller as well as several Reds ... one 22 incher that we kept (only 1 Red a day between 18 & 27 inches) got a 25 incher later on that we did not get to keep.

Picture of the youngun un hooking one that swallowed the jig and a picture of the 25 incher. The biggest trouble right now is that the water is not cold enough to make them stick in a spot long ...

This was at the Mouth of the Choctawhatchee River.

Hope You can get into some of them over in PC Area before You leave ... Try Burnt Mill or Crooked Creek .... I have had reports of a lot of good specs down at Appalachacola...

Hi greg, glad to see you made it down to my home territory. The best part of it is that you caught a nice mess of fish. We had a great vacation but now I'm glad I'm back. I talked to my buddy this morning that has a camp at Falgout Canal, he said he caught a bunch of fish at the marina fishing under some lights. By the way, did you catch any fish behind your house yet?
Hoping to see you and Bette soon.
