Default The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly

The new boat is proving to be a good one. However, on its last trip to the canals in the Rockefeller Wildlife Refuge, the fishing was pretty bad - eight reds - four of which were rats and had to be released, and one fair flounder. On the drive home while passing alongside the Abbeville golf course, some knuckle-head snatch-hooked his drive, and his ball and my truck's windshield arrived at the same spot at the same time and at a rather high rate of speed! The impact was mighty ugly! Sounded like a shotgun going off in my face!
Talk about being in the wrong place at the wrong time!
Pete

Sounds like you need to take up a safer sport Pete, like couch potatoing. Ha.

Man Pete, that is crazy! Glad you weren't hurt. Wish you would have done better on the reds, me and my cousin went to the lake in the rain today and caught 30 specks 1 red and 2 flounder. He took the picture with his camera so I will have to wait until I get it from him to post.

Again, glad you were not hurt!

Did it sound like somebody shooting a squirrel from the back of the boat while you're laying out a cast?

Wow, sounds like an adventurous day Pete.... That golf ball sounds better than what I have heard before... I use to have a friend that moved to California and got mixed up in a gang, he said they would drop bowling balls from the catwalks over the highways over there.
