Default Cherry Grove, SC

Is anyone familiar with this area. I plan to be there next week and was wondering if I would be able to use my bass boat anywhere? I don't plan to get out on the big pond and don't want to pier fish all week. Any suggestions, hints or advice would be greatly appreciated, Thanks
