Do you ever try catching those trout on a slip float with live shrimp?

Thats a real good technique during summer, most of the trout I have caught lately have been feeding on large shad(pogies)thats what they fatten up on before winter

Nice mess of fish BigBee. That is not anything like I would have imagined. I was thinking it was some kind of top water. We caught some on some catch 2000's right at dark on monday, try it again today but they didn't want it. Had to stick with the sand eel jrs. and cacahoes.

Try the clear/red tail. I lived in Covington and would tear them up around the causeway and on a drop off right inside the tchefuncte with that color.

I must have missed this post, Thats a nice box of fish. And that bait resembles the cocahoes.
