June Never Fails
Went to Oak Island the second week of June, and the Speckled Sea Trout were there as they are every year. Caught my share as I do every year. There are not many things you can count on as being a constant but that week in June never lets me down. All caught on live shrimp under a float at Oak Island Pier. They are making it easy for everyone to join in the fun as the pier as well as tackle shops have started selling live shrimp, but at a preimum price around $7.00 a doz. I however still through the cast net and catch my own. Give it a shot and have some fun.
