Pulled up to the spot and there were several other sport boats in the general area.

Nice mixture of sardines and anchovies

This was the average size bass for the day.

The boat made several moves throughout the day.

I love fishing the the island.

These are the reasons why. I fished hard all day and was rewarded with 2 firecrackers.

I notice something strange when I compared the 2 yellows. One set of fins was missing, is this normal?

Final fish count for the boat was 41 anglers who caught: 2 Yellowtail 154 Calico Bass 22 Barracuda 3 Sheephead 23 Whitefish 38 Bonito and 77 Perch. Calico bass fishing was just insane today.
Most of my fish were caught on the 15lb test with a 20lb flurocarbon. A 1/O hook and a hot dine did the trick for the day. Once again I would like to thank the crew for all their hard work today. Thanks for reading and goodluck on your next fishing adventure, Pokerface.
