Still Chilly
With the cold weather the lake temp is warming very slowly, and the fishing remains slow. We had a short afternoon trip and worked the 45 -120 foot depth with only two short hits. With the shifting wind our warmer water was gone, so we are still waiting for summer to come our way. The bait fish continue to be thick around the pierheads and up river. With last weekends WI Championship Carp Tournament taking place in Two Rivers, there is a surge of people fishing the river for some big carp right now. Some fish over 30lb are being taken and it's interesting to try the corn and bait ball mixes to catch these big fish.
