This Weeks Update
The fishing has not been good the past week, with the water temps jumping from 41 to 65 degrees and some shifting winds the fish are as stunned as the fisherman. It seems the whole lake is shut down when I talk to captains from other ports. The fish are stacked up in the 65-85 foot depths and the bait fish are thick, it's just a matter of the fish turning on and then we should be in for some excellent action as these fish that are being caught are larger in size. The Willie Bee brought in a 2 fish average for the past couple of days, so things will get better.
