Default Big Rainbows are In

We got into some bigger rainbows this week. We averaged 9 fish per trip this week and the bulk were larger bows. Fishing from the nets to the light in 80 to 180 feet of water on the surface with orange crush and acid spot pro-kings were the best. Some kings on the pumphandles, but that action has slowed with the cold water moving in and the huge die off of alewifes. The mornings and afternoons are producing the same, and higher speeds in the 3 to 3.5 knots are needed to attract these fish.
