Default Season winding down

We are a week away from pulling the boat out of the water for the year. The late season salmon run doesn't look like anything will happen. Our trip out last afternoon took us to 35 feet of water where the graph was full of fish and after trolling south for 6 miles we managed to get a brown in the boat. I'm starting to think we are marking alot of whitefish. The full spread of spoons, j-plugs, fastracks, and flies got washed, but no takers. The pier fishing has slowed, with not many people out any more. I took the tour of the fish hatchery and the rivers in the area and there were small to no signs of a salmon run. Hopefully the weather will give us a shot at the deep water fishing for the weekend.
