On Tuesday afternoon we basically had the whole Lake to ourselves, other than another charter and a few small boats it was a empty

.
I set up in 90` straight and took the first hit as I was setting out the lead core, it actually ripped out of my hand as I was setting it on a planer board. We started off bringing in a chunky 6 pound coho that went after a Silver Streak Kevorkian.
After that first quick one we were just poking away, I hailed the other charter that took it out to 160` and was returning after taking his only hit in 135`. I stayed in the 100`-130` range and took a hard hit with a heavy fish on a flat line only to have it break off at the backing, that hurt

.
It wasn`t hot and heavy, but we had some action, most came on the lead with the Silver Streak Smurf and Kevorkian spoons. The wire dipseys 180` and 200` out on a #1 setting with a smoke/ Boy Blue flie, and the banana rig took a few hits as well. The only `rigger bite was a Blue Dolphin down 90` in 100` of water. We went 5/ 9 with a 14# and 17# King taking up most of the cooler space, the coho and 2 more kings at 4 and 8 pounds.
On Wednesday Morning I set up in 70` just south of the line and took it out to 90` where we had our first hit on a Smurf down 65` and landed an 8 pound King. The entire trip was productive with the best baits being `riggers with the Smoke Lil` boy blue down 65`, a white spin doctor with a green flie down 80`, wire dipseys with various purple and green spoons down 180`- 225`. The lead had the Kevorkian and blue dolphins on them early then a white on white hot spot / flie brought some fish to the boat. The one that "Got Away"

hit on the Lil` boy blue /smoke down 65` in 120` of water. After a 15 minute battle, with both participants tired the fish came free at the surface well behind the boat. We had some nice swells forming and I believe this may have caused slack in the line allowing this guy to fight another day. I stayed in the 120`-140` range from the line to less than a mile south after sun up and we went 18 for 24 with 2 coho, 2 lakers and 14 kings, the biggest at 14 pounds. The `riggers were from 65` (46* water temp) down to 100`.
