I`ve been fortunate to have been scheduled to fish every day this month. I`ve only missed a couple of trips due to weather and I scheduled today off so I can reintroduce myself to the family and dog
The fishing has been changing like the weather. The baits of choice (Spoons or Dodger/Flie), location, speed, direction, color and everything else is making all of us go thru much of our tackle on every trip.
I`ve personally only had one real good morning bite this year where I had fish on as soon as I had one or two rods in and had the action continue for any extended length of time.
The kings are still on the smaller side with the average between 12-15 pounds. For whatever reason I have found every one of their stomachs to be void of any bait

However, the few coho I`ve had mixed in were able to find the alewives.
There has been quite a bit of water moving around with the temps changing dramatically. I was out on the 15th and in the morning the water was 74° at the surface and between 42° and 44° 35`-40` feet down, when I returned and hour later for my afternoon trip the water was now 60° all the way down to 55` in the same 70` depth of water. This has the fish constantly moving and the bait as well. I haven`t marked and substantial clouds of bait like we did in the spring other than in the 15`-30` range.
The fishing is still for the most part very good. It appears many groups have been spoiled with our phenomenal season to this point, as the word "Limit" is coming up frequently.
The morning bite has for the most part been better than the afternoons, however there have been instances where that hasn`t followed suit.
Get out when you can and don`t go by yesterdays "Hot bait" as I`ve found it to be changing on a daily basis.
I would have to sit down for a full day to write the details of each trip, and some of them are quite amusing to say the least. The same goes for posting pics, the double racks are not as common but we`ve also been loosing quite a few fish for whatever reason. If your interested they can be found on my pics page:

Sorry I couldn`t be of more help but I really don`t have the time, and I`ve been between 25` and 200` of water, 5 miles either side of the line chasing these guys, sometimes in the same day.
