Started off just North of the line at 5 in 70`with no early morning bite to speak of. Took the first hit at 90` and then at 95`. Both on #2 dipseys 90` and 100` back with glow flies behind a Luhr Jensen "Everglo" Fluorescent orange dodger. These dodgers look orange but actually glow in the dark. The Fishlander orange Easter Egg took two fish as well.I leveled off at 100` and took it North for about 2 miles (real strong push due to the current) and made another pass to the South. My Northbound speed was 2.9 kts., and south was 2.2kts. I basically stayed in the area between 95` and 110` for the length of the trip. I had out an array of spoons from Magnums, regulars and stinger size, they all took hits. After sunrise it seemed that the fish wanted a spoon with either dark purple or black in it, The Smurf, Kevorkian and Black Fin Tuna all took hits. The lead and `riggers down from 37` - 70`produced all morning. The biggest fish was a King just under 18 pounds, that took a regular size Black Fin Tuna 40`down 20` behind the ball.

We ended up 19 for 27 or so.

For the afternoon I went right back to where we left off and lost the first 2 fish. We had a good hook up rate in the morning and I was hoping it didn`t change. The next hit made it to the boat and it was a 7 pound king that was hooked with a Stinger Kevorkian 35` down, right in the middle of it`s head. We also had 2 steelies hooked in the flesh under their mouths between the gills. It appeared they were swatting at the baits. Twice the dipseys took hits but the releases never tripped, and the `riggers took their share of bumps as well. Again there was a strong push to the North and it felt like you weren`t even moving, and to the South you thought you were marlin fishing.
The baits remained the same and I brought it into 70` on a few passes. We ended up 12 for 20 something (if you count all the bumps), one little guy we kept as he too took the hook under the chin.

There is quite a bit of debris out in the water so you`ll have to constantly check to see if your presentation is fouled, I had plenty of weeds on mine. The water was 47* 40` down which is why there are so many hits high in the column.
