Another beautiful day out on the water, sunny, light cooling breezes and some decent fish in the cooler

.
Stopped on some nice marks in 60` 1/2 mile North of the line, and looped thru a few times with no takers.
So I pointed it East staying within a mile of the line out to 100` when the first fish hit a magnum "Smurf", who managed to free itself as it tangled in the copper

. I dropped it back down 60` on a`rigger and not long after we got our first fish, a 12#+ King. It fired again as we hit 115` bringing in another just over 6#`s. The next bites came on the lead, all colors out, one had the "Hot Lobster: the other a "Green Dolphin", bringing in another King also just over 12#`s , and a Bo respectively. Next came a Laker taking a Clown flie behind chrome, down 180` on a #1 wire dipsey. The best dipsey bites were smoke behind Lil` boy blue 150` on a #3 fireline. The only other dodger flie bite I had was on a banana rig down 40`, in tow 8` behind the ball.
Then it was single hits taken by a "Sister Sludge" down 90, and a "Blue Berry Muffin" down 65`.
We ended up 8 / 11 with two coho, one Bo and Laker, and four Kings. Again searching for those elusive Browns to get a "Grand Slam"
All the spoons again were "Silver Streak", I stayed a mile north of the line between 70` and 120`.
The other charters were concentrating in the same general area on the Illinois side as well.
