Been kinda` busy fishing and haven`t had time to post....anyhow the bigger Kings are starting to show up in larger numbers, anywhere from 30`-90` depending on the winds. The water is cold and most bites are coming in the top 45` of the water column. Glow spoons such as the "Moonshines" are doing well, color preference seems to change every couple of days.

I`ve had a few "Father & Son" trips lately, and we`ve done OK, nice way to spend the day together.

There is also a good "Mixed Bag" with coho, Kings, lakers, and a lot of Steelhead being caught.

Here`s what we ended up with staying in the shallow water, all kings

And the 4 yr. olds we landed

Some days the fish are biting for the whole trip, others they seem to shut off and you have to look for some that are still feeding. There are times when they appear to be "Swatting" at the baits as many that you manage to land are foul hooked. Either way it`s the middle of August and the fishing has overall been pretty good.
If you`ve been thinking of getting out, nows the time. The weather has been very cooperative so far this season.
