My sons 1st day of summer vacation away from school, and he decides he wants to spend it on the boat with dad, even though he would have to get up early, yes boys he's a great kid!!!!!!! So needless to say I took little convincing to use a vacation day to get him out there. So we decide to go to a local lake that is more known for its numbers than size, perfect to keep a nine year old busy. Using some of the techniques I have read about on here and applying some of the general knowledge members of this forum have shared with me we had an awesome day!!! Caught a ton of em, although not all big but we did manage some nice ones. Of course my son caught the biggest. So thanks to everyone who has taken the time to share there knowledge and advice. Attached are the better ones. Thanks to every one for all the help. God bless.
