how many split shots did it eat?Almost 3 lbs,I'll bet 1.6-1.8

not like the 38lb black crappie I caught that ate my left arm to the elbow when I brought him in,but a good crappie,none the less.

I know the size of the Crappie in your area don't getvery big so you're obviously not used to seeing anything like this... but, look at the belly line, the width of the fish right before the tail fin and the thickness that fish obviously has and you'd be an idiot to call that fish 1.6-1.8.

wouldnt ya have to round it up 6 ounces for it to be a 3lber?

Most digital scales read in lbs and 1/10ths or 1/100th or even 1/1000ths of
a pound. sort of a wierd mix of metric and US Common measurements.

I would have tried more scales until I found one that said 3.0.
