Default small water jumbo

I caught this nice jumbo on a 17 acre lake that averages 6 feet deep with one small hole in the 16 feet deep range

I was joking, sorry. Moved away from the deep freeze (IN) to a milder climate, VA. I used to ice fish. Very peaceful. I gotta be honest though, open water pretty much year round suits me just fine. Was that a recent catch?

Nice perch... did you get it in the deeper hole or was it in shallower? Thinking about ice fishing next year and trying to get an idea of where the perch hang out in small water under the ice.

six feet of water, we ended up catching 14 just like it over the course of the winter and all of them were in 5 or 6 feet of water,,the owner of the lake did not even know they were still there,, he planted several hundred 9 years ago and has not caught any until we got into them this year,
