7:10 am My Daughter put the smackdown on this jake! Great memory made!

Nice one. Was it her first turkey? I still remember my first spring gobbler.

No, her third. Her firs was a 23 pounder, 11 inch beard, and 1-3/4" spurs. I told her she'd never kill another that size. I think it was a 4 year old. Last year's was a 2 year old, with 7/8" spurs, and 5" beard. And now this jake! She keeps going backwards. I love the time I get to spend with her, and know I'll soon loose her to boys and the like. I hope not, but I've seen it many times. She's not a little girl anymore. Thanks for looking. Kids are the world.

Worst part, I seem to have lost my favorite Browning A-5 Stalker. She loves that thing. So did I "sob, sob".
