Went to the lake today. Surface temp was 52-54 degrees. Looked like the first day of Trout there too. Lots of boats in the parking lot, but a few here and there. Caught 10 crappies, 1 catfish. All small crappies, on minnows tight line. Got sunburnt. Anyone else there toda? I was fishing near swimbeach. Don

was up there yesterday early due to afternoon plans. did not do any goodat all could noy even mark many fish water surface temp was 49 in am 53 at 2 when we left. warmest water was in 10 hp area saw only 1 boat do any good while we were there. still pretty cold but surprised we did not mark more fish. warden got us on the way in reminder of no wake zone looked at life jackets told us of walleyes being caught at outflow seemed like a good guy. any one else up yesterday?

I have the same report , we got on the lake by 9am went to our normal spots. Fished until about 2:30 with no luck , talked to a few guys at the docks and on the lakes with same results. Lake is close to being ready needs a few more degrees. We will all have better days soon.

Dad and I fished at the Golden Run Area saw about 10 bank fisherman and they were catching some. We did not catch any there so we went east 200 yards and catched 12 and 6 were eater. 3 feet down from the bobbers. Good day.:D

Did well the last couple of days with some real nice slabs. 7 feet down in 10-12 fow. Nothing shallow. If the wind was blowing I was doing good if it died down the fish would stop biting. Caught 3 small muskies under 12 inches and an eye Sat. Watched a group of boats fishing one point and no one was catching anything but they stayed there for a good 4 hrs.
