    Default July KCA Perch trip

Well mother Nature did a number on our trip after arriving at the dock Capt John informed us the boat was not going out due to lake being very rough. All the charter boats at state strret cancelled their trips also, alot of disappointed folks to say the least.
On the brighter side we have a new date Aug 16th for 25 people. Its a sun morning trip again but all the saturday trips were booked.
So in about a month we will be at it again.Good seeing faces again, see you all in august if not sooner.

    Smitty,
I kinda mentioned it when we were standing around. You are more than welcom always!!Im not fond of going out on the pond either by myself but i really wanted to fish and im a little tired of the usual inland lakes.
The fireline crystal really worked again. in 55 feet i could feel every little peck.and they were biting real li not slamming at all. if i were using regular mono i doubt if my results would of bben the same. so use it plus the subaki rigs and you cant go wrong.

I finally got a chance to post this pic. After the trip was cancelled we went to the marina where my sister-in-law has a boat. We fished from the docks in the marina. We were able to catch some nice slabs, like the one in the pic, from under the docks so the day wasn't a total loss. This one was about 13"
