Hills Creeks is a state park with a moderate size lake in Tioga County, northcentral PA. I didn't have any success yesterday because I was fishing from the bank and the weeds have really taken off. I was stopped for a survey about crappie fishing there, and it looks like they're going to do some panfish enhancement, focusing on crappie. It really needs it since most of the panfish are stunted.
They have no particular plans at this point. The survey simply covered preferences for things like size and creel limits for individual species and combined creel limits. One question asked about whether I would be comfortable with a 9" minimum size and 20-fish limit for crappie at the lake.
By the way, when he first asked me what I was fishing for, I just smiled and showed him my KCA hat! I think I answered his question.
