Well I have been fishing here for about the last month. Doing farely well I thought. I stopped by on my way home from work and boy oh boy was the bite ever on. I arrived at the lake at 0645 and left at 0845. I caught well over 50 crappies between 9 and 11.5 inches. Every cast for over an hour I had at least a bite, but more often than not I was hooked up on one. What an awsome day. The saying goes if you were catching fishing all the time they would call it catching instead of fishing. Well This morning I guess you could say I was not fishing, I was definately catching. What a great day.

Sounds like a good time.....I had a decent day on Blue Marsh Saturday as well,the biggest we kept were a couple 13.5's and a bunch between 10 and 12.

My buddy got one 16 in there about a week after your post.

I have to get over to try Holman,a friend at work said his uncle fishes Crappie there and does well.I was at Sweet Arrow Saturday for a few hours and caught 50,most of which were small(between 7- 10 inches and on the thin side).

The spawn is on. My buddy and I were out this am for about 3 hours. He was using minnows and I was using jigs. He outfished me but I did O.K. Tube4Slabs, about 2 wks before my first post my buddy had one that was 14inches and close to 2lbs. I never causght one this big yet. Still waiting.

Went out to Sweet Arrow last night after work and fished for 2 1/2 hours and caught 143 Crappie.We caught them from 10ft in to not much more than 1 ft,the shallow fish were very dark.We used minnows and tubes,the color didn't seem to much matter as this was about as good a bite as I ever had.
