Default Sayers/Bald Eagle

Any information on Sayers lake yet this year? Hoping with the great weather this week, things will start to turn on. We're hoping to get out for the first time this weekend (19th/20th). Will post an update next week.

Unhappy

The tow vehicle was taken out of commission temporarily by a minor accident last week, so we never made it to the lake. It seems that something like this happens every year to delay our start. We're working on getting a vehicle ready for next weekend.

Fished Sayer sat. First tried across from the winter launch with the rest of the boats. No luck. Tried off the point between the swim beach and the marina caught 10-15. They quit biting so went into the marina and fished the docks. The docks were loaded with crappie and sun fish. Caught a lot of crappies from under docks no size to them. Only one legal crappie. Then around 4 we got chased off the lake from thunder storm. The lake has a ways to go till its at full pool. The thunder storm probably helped to fill it some. Don't know how long it lasted. Surface temp was 64 to 67. The weather this week will cool it off some.
