Default Shenango

I'm wondering if anyone has seen Shenango since the rain this week? Is the ice still on? If so, is it breaking up or how deep? Hoping to get up there with the boat in the next couple weeks to hook some cold craps and pike.

I keep my pontoon up there at the marina in the summer and was thinking of going up this Sat 3/8 to talk to them, I'll let you know what's up. The river in Pulaski below the dam was low yesterday.

When I drove over the causeway yesterday afternoon I saw no one on the ice and it was starting to look really transparent.

I drive by Conneaut every day there were two huts out there this afternoon but the way the water looks to opening up time may be limited there also.

Shenango looks like it may be clear in a day or two if we get some cooperation from mother nature.

Did you take a look at that lake? I was there today. The water is up to the parking lots at PL and Hartford. You probably cant get back to GR. And there's still a heck of a lot of ice at the north end. If we're lucky, we'll be fishing by next sunday.
