Anyone here been to pinchot lately ?? How's the bite there ??

It has been a long time since I have seen a post from you. I hope everything is ok with you.
I was at pinchot yesterday and the fishing was terrable. The lake was covered with a green algy bloom. We were only able to catch three small bass Four small crappies and a few sunfish. The bass and crappies were caught 15 to 20 feet deep. Another thing I noticed was that the weed beds that were on the lower end of the lake are almost non existand now. I did not go up stream above the swiming aera so I don't know what the weed beds look line up there. By the looks of all the nasty stuff on the surface of the lake it must have taken a big hit. I guess the dry weather has something to do with the condition of the lake. After trying to figure this lake out for three years now I will not be going back soon.
