Default Sayers/Bald Eagle - - - JUNE

I will start it. I have caught 10 keepers this month. the bite has slowed considerably compared to may. I am catching fish in 15+ feet of water at times. less than 10 feet has only got me a couple of fish.

i believe they are starting to suspend in deeper waters.

i caught most of my fish on a jig and grub, or small tube. i fished the stream bed near the causeway and had some luck. and i landed a largemouth near the marina.

boat traffic was horrible today so me and the dog ended up just cruising around the lake eating up about 10 gallons of gas. it was a good time though

i fish 3 or 4 days of the week on sayers, i would like to hear how good others are doing on the lake.

good luck

Any action on the lake lately? I went on Monday and had very little success compared to 2 and 3 weeks ago. Where are the fish? Deeper water?

I had been staying on land in hunters run cove and having some luck. Monday i was out in a boat and went down by the bridge. Didn't get much.

You guys still catching em?

i have been going out for 3 hour spans or so and i have been catching about 15-20 each time. i have done good around the bridge recently. but it has been slow on other parts of the lake. i fished the road bed and had no luck.

I am assuming you are going in the evenings? Any keepers in that 15-20 or are they mostly shorts?
