Anyone fishing Curwensville?How is the bite?Hate to make a trip from Bedford just to take my boat for a bath

Any info would be appreciated!

I was up at the dam and caught a nice channelcat and a pile of perch yesterday, but I really didn't get into any crappie though. HTH (night crawlers)

Me, my dad and my uncle were there last Wed. Started out to the right of the boat launch. The surface water temp. was 77 degrees. Went over by the dam and water was about the same. Went up the lake past the first beaver huts to one of the first coves. The temp. was 82 degrees. Way to warm for the crappies. I think it is over there. Only 2 bass a few perch. Was a wasted trip from St. Marys.
